Trump Drops $25 Million Midterm Bomb While Democrats Were Still Counting Their Fundraising Emails

Trump Drops $25 Million Midterm Bomb While Democrats Were Still Counting Their Fundraising Emails

A brand-new political action committee called No Going Back PAC Inc. was incorporated on September 1, 2026. Four days later, it started buying $25 million in advertising reservations across half a dozen battleground states.

By Wednesday, that number had already ballooned to $47 million.

The PAC is being handled by Charles Gantt, a Republican political operative who specializes in campaign finance and has previously managed filings for Trump-connected organizations. Gantt's involvement and the PAC's spending patterns point squarely at the Trump orbit — a financial infrastructure that already includes MAGA Inc., the super PAC sitting on a war chest north of $400 million.

The money isn't being sprayed randomly. Federal Election Commission records show the reservations are surgically targeted: $15 million into Michigan, $11 million into Ohio, $9.6 million into New Hampshire, $7.7 million into Alaska. North Carolina and Georgia are also on the board. A separate $10 million has been directed to Texas, where Republican Senate nominee Ken Paxton is facing Democrat James Talarico.

That Texas number is worth pausing on. Ten million dollars into a single state senate race signals that the Trump operation isn't playing defense anywhere — it's trying to run up the score.

The spending also extends to the House side, with Pennsylvania Republican Rep. Scott Perry's race getting attention, and Iowa, where Democratic Senate nominee Josh Turek is apparently considered vulnerable enough to warrant an air war. The direct-mail spending showing up in FEC filings suggests this isn't just a TV blitz — it's a full-spectrum campaign operation deployed in the span of a week.

Democrats spent most of 2026 bragging about their small-dollar fundraising advantage and their army of ActBlue donors getting guilt-tripped into $3 contributions every time someone tweets something mean. That strategy works fine when the other side is asleep.

The other side is not asleep.

No Going Back PAC went from nonexistent to a $47 million operation in less than a week. The October financial disclosure deadline will reveal more about who's writing the checks, but by then the ads will already be running in every swing-state living room from Flint to Fairbanks.

The fundraising gap Democrats were counting on just got filled — and then some. The midterm math they were running doesn't work anymore, and the part that has to sting the most is how fast it happened. One PAC, one operative, one week, and suddenly the battlefield looks completely different.

Funny how a guy who built skyscrapers for a living knows a thing or two about construction timelines.
